Puri,Potato Curry


Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kg boiled potatoes
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnish
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon urad dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoon besan flour
Preparation Method:
  1. Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces and smashed.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add urad dal,mustard and cumin seeds.When they start splutter add curry leaves, green chillies and onions.
  3. Now add potatoes, salt, turmeric powder and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Take besan flour in a flour in a small bowl add few water, mix well and add it to curry before removing from heat.
  5. Add coriander leaves and remove from heat.
  6. Serve with puri.
To make puri:
  1. Take wheat flour and wet it.Add some salt and oil/ghee.
  2. Make small balls out of the dough.
  3. Sprinkle with wheat flour, Roll out puri from the balls.
  4. Pour oil in a frying pan and deep fry puri untill its light brown.
