Uthappam


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup idly batter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1/2" ginger
  • few curry leaves
  • few coriander leaves
  • oil for sprinkle
Preparation:
  1. Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies, minced ginger,chopped curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves to the idli batter and mix well.
  2. Heat the non stick tawa and pour a ladder full of batter and spread like a thick dosa.
  3. Sprinkle a spoon full of oil around the uthappam.
  4. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  5. Now turn over on the side and again cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from the tawa and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
