Wheat Rava Idly

Ingredients:
  • Wheat Rava - 2 1/2 cups
  • Oil or Ghee 5 tbs
  • Sour curd or sour thick buttermilk - 2 cups
You can also add:
  • Carrots grated
  • Coriander and curry leaves,
  • grated coconut
  • Season with mustard
  • urad dhal, Channa dhal and Cashewnuts
Preparation:
  1. Mix roasted rava( dry roast the rava )with curd or butter milk without lumps.
  2. Heat oil, add seasonings and pour over the mixture.
  3. Add salt, grated carrot, coriander and curry leaves & grated coconut.
  4. Mix thoroughly, now pour in greased idly plates and steam for about 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with Chutney or just plain.
