You can also add:
- Carrots grated
- Coriander and curry leaves,
- grated coconut
- Season with mustard
- urad dhal, Channa dhal and Cashewnuts
- Mix roasted rava( dry roast the rava )with curd or butter milk without lumps.
- Heat oil, add seasonings and pour over the mixture.
- Add salt, grated carrot, coriander and curry leaves & grated coconut.
- Mix thoroughly, now pour in greased idly plates and steam for about 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with Chutney or just plain.
