Chana Masala
Ingredients: Kabuli chana(chick peas) -1 cup butter - 3 tbsp ginger paste - 1 tbsp garlic paste - 1 tbsp onions - 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes - 1 cup finely chopped garam masala - 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp coriander - cumin powder - 2 tsp chilli powder - 1 tsp coriander leaves for garnish salt to taste Preparation: Soak kabuli chana for at least 8 to 10 hours. Take some butter in a cooker.Add the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till onions turn transparent.Add the chopped tomatoes.Stir it for some time. Add turmeric, coriander-cumin powder,salt, garam masala, chilli powder and mix well. Add kabuli chana and add water such that all the ingredients are properly soaked.Pressure cook till the chana is cooked. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
